Evening Primrose Oil is a rich source of essential fatty acids (EFAs). It contains gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), the most active omega-6 fatty acid. GLA acts as a precursor to the prostaglandin PGE1, which aids immune function, brain function and cardiovascular health.
